About the Author
Andrea Spano received her training at the Culinary Arts program of the New York Restaurant School, where she graduated with honors in 1986. She then opened “STEVE & ANDREA’S RESTAURANT”, and realized her love of baking and creating desserts was something she wished to pursue further. “DESSERTS BY ANDREA” was then born. After several years of creating wonderful desserts for her clientele, she was inspired to write “Not Just Desserts”, a beautiful collection of fantastic confections and delectable savory food. The book includes funny stories, memoirs and interesting baking & food facts. Andrea continues to delight her customers with her delicious menu of tortes, cheesecakes, layer cakes and other extraordinary food creations.
